You can, and plenty of people start with the pan. The sets come in below the cost of buying the same pieces separately, so buying together is usually the better call if you know you want more than one.

A titanium-reinforced cooking surface over a composite multilayer base of titanium, aluminium and stainless steel. It measures 30cm across and works on gas, electric and induction.

Titanium is harder than the materials used in ordinary non-stick surfaces, which is why the pan is rated scratch-resistant where a standard coated pan is not. It is made for everyday cooking.

Yes. Gas, electric and induction are all covered, so it moves house with you.

SUS304 stainless steel, 1.2mm thick, double-sided. SUS304 is the grade used in commercial kitchens and sinks, chosen because it does not stain, rust or hold onto anything.

Wood and plastic both absorb, and once a board is scored by a knife there is somewhere for residue to sit that a rinse does not reach. Steel is non-porous, so what comes off the surface is everything that was on it.

Thin oils: olive, canola, avocado and similar. Thicker oils can clog the fine-mist nozzle and spoil the spray, so keep those for the bottle.

Pouring from the bottle is guesswork, and most people put in more than the pan needs. A mist gives you an even coat across the whole surface from one press.

Wash it by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge rather than steel wool, and let it cool before it goes anywhere near the sink. Medium heat does nearly everything, and avoiding a dry pan on high heat is what keeps any cooking surface performing.

A light coat, which is the reason the sprayer sits in the range alongside the pan. One press covers the base evenly.

Rinse it to bare metal, or put it in the dishwasher. Nothing soaks into steel, so there is no soaking or scrubbing cycle to get on top of a smell.

Rinse the bottle with warm water between oils and run warm water through the nozzle if the mist starts to thin. Keeping it to thin oils is what stops it clogging in the first place.

If it simply isn't for you, return postage is yours. Email us first and we'll send return instructions. If it arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect, we cover the return postage.

Email us within 30 days of delivery and tell us what you would like to return. We will confirm where to send it and what happens next.

Once your return reaches us and has been checked, we process it to your original payment method. Your bank usually takes a further three to five business days to show it.
